In the end.... we're all the same.

There is a song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZX7aPZ35wxQ) that starts with the phrase "ever since I was a child", so I'm going to start with that.......

Ever since I was a child I remember feeling the need to be different, inside out. So I did, not exactly on purpose, it just happened to usually like different things, ideas, music, clothes, etc. 

But growing up (alongside with becoming more mature), meeting new people, having long (or short, it doesn't matter so much because you can always understand some things even when they're not spoken) conversations with them, I realised that not only you can't be totally different from others, but the thruth is that deep inside we're all the same and  EVERYONE wants the same thing: love.

It might sound cheesy and trite, but if you think about it everyone needs to be loved by someone.

Just take a good look around you and pay attention to those who have love, those who try to hide the fact that they need it, those who express their need for love in the wrong way and those who have accepted the fact that love is what they need!
Everything else (career, money, success, material things, etc) comes second.....

Όσο θυμάμαι τον εαυτό μου θυμάμαι ότι ήθελα να διαφέρω, εσωτερικά και εξωτερικά. Έτσι κι έγινε, χωρίς να κάνω ιδιαίτερη προσπάθεια, απλά τύχαινε να μου αρέσουν διαφορετικά πράγματα, ιδέες, μουσική, ρούχα, κλπ.

Μεγαλώνοντας λοιπόν (και παράλληλα ωριμάζοντας), γνωρίζοντας καινούριους ανθρώπους, κάνοντας μακροσκελείς (ή και πιο σύντομες, γιατί δεν χρειάζεται πάντα να ειπωθεί κάτι για να το καταλάβεις) συζητήσεις μαζί τους, συνειδητοποίησα ότι όχι μόνο δεν μπορείς να διαφέρεις ολοκληρωτικά από τους άλλους, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα βαθιά μέσα μας είμαστε ΟΛΟΙ ίδιοι και θέλουμε το ίδιο πράγμα: αγάπη.

Μπορεί ν' ακούγεται γλυκανάλατο και τετριμμένο, αλλά άμα το σκεφτείς όλοι θέλουν ν' αγαπηθούν από κάποιον.

Απλά παρατήρησε λίγο τον κόσμο γύρω σου, αυτούς που είναι ήδη αποδέκτες αγάπης, αυτούς που προσπαθούν να κρύψουν το γεγονός ότι την έχουν ανάγκη, αυτούς που εκφράζουν την ανάγκη τους για αγάπη με τους λάθος τρόπους, κι αυτούς που έχουν αποδεχτεί το γεγονός ότι η αγάπη είναι αυτό που χρειάζονται!
Όλα τα υπόλοιπα (καριέρα, χρήματα, επιτυχία, υλικά αγαθά, κλπ) έρχονται σε δεύτερη θέση......
